David Cleveland and Ken Rickwood [orange jacket, bigger fish !] met in the 1970's at University of Essex where they were both working at the time, and they have been boating buddies ever since.

 

Although they still enjoy boating together, though they have given up the fishing, they are now working together to write and produce books about the local history and geography of East Anglia. Regularly assisting each other with these projects, Ken has designed several of David’s books and David was ‘first mate’ on many of Ken’s boating trips along the Stour and Colne.
